2015 Race Schedule

After hours studying maps and meticulously calculating travel costs, I have put together my race schedule for 2015. The fireworks to kick off my 2015 season are set for Buck Hurley in North Carolina. Accelerate 3 athletes have had some great success at this race in the past and I look forward to racing alongside them this year. My final race in the USA for the year is scheduled for the Jenison triathlon in Grand Rapids Michigan. I have seen the importance of supporting local races and am glad to be able to support two local sprint distance races to begin my season. The most exciting news for this year is that I will be racing for French team, Rennes Triathlon in the French Division II National Championships. The division II champs take place over four races; Les Sables d'Olonne (May 31), La Rochelle (June 13), Angers (July 18) and Cognac (August 30). These races will play a huge part in my season and I look forward to racing in a team environment. A big thank you must go to everyone that helped me in getting this opportunity. Outside of the French championship races, I have added some ITU races throughout Europe with the goal of improving my ITU ranking in order to make the start lists of World Cup races by the end of the year. After a steep learning curve in 2014 and spending the off season working on the weaknesses that became apparent last year, I am looking forward to challenging myself against some of the best draft legal athletes. The final piece to my schedule in 2015 is some bigger draft legal races, the British triathlon championships in Liverpool followed by the London triathlon and La Baule.

Having a schedule ready to go gives me added motivation and helps in keeping me focused during the frigid winter months in Ohio.  If you are racing any of the same events, or will be in the same neighbourhood at any time I would love to know! For now it is time for me to do some swimming and work on my T1. Hoo roo!
